ACSBlog

ACSBlog” The Blog of the American Constitution Society is an informative blog about this organization’s activities, contributions and interests. There are numerous chapters listed throughout the country and it appears to be a growing dedicated and talented non-profit educational organization. The archives are divided into topics on the sidebar which was working a bit oddly when I was there. I don’t think the sidebar is meant to be down that far on the left (probably just one of those technical issues.). There is a top menu for navigation also but it does not have many of the sidebar items such as the topics section. There are many legal activity postings by guest bloggers. I think this is an excellent example of a professional organization using a blog to successfully disseminate information to others in the organization and simultaneously sharing information with the general public. It’s very well written with several editors and lots of material. I give 9 stars. Here is an excerpt from their about section:

“(ACS) is one of the nation's leading progressive legal organizations. Founded in 2001, ACS is comprised of law students, lawyers, scholars, judges, policymakers, activists and other concerned individuals who are working to ensure that the fundamental principles of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, and access to justice are in their rightful, central place in American law.”
