Great Big Blog
“Great Big Blog” is a collaborative blog of bloggers that began as a smaller family and friend’s blog in the fall of 2004 and has grown now to include other interested bloggers. I found it over at BlogLines while I was surfing through the new blogs list. You can read and comment on blog entries with out joining. It’s free to register and you only have to join if you want to contribute blog posts and get karma ratings. When you become a member you can rate and be rated on your blog entries by registered bloggers to get a karma rating. Science, Politics and Technology seem to be the hottest categories at Great Big Blog but there are quite a few other categories with plenty of posts and comments too. There is a plethora of intriguing posts, memes and even contests going on. The design is clean, easy to read and navigation is simple to follow. I decided to join and take a peek at what was going on as a registered user and maybe add some posts myself. I give 8.5 stars for this project. This community of bloggers blog has a pleasant atmosphere and real positive potential in my opinion.8.5 stars
