Deborah Elizabeth Finn

Deborah Elizabeth Finn” a blog about “Technology for the Nonprofit and Philanthropic Sector” has tips, opinions and links that can assist deploying technology in an organization or group. This blogger seems to have a positive attitude and strong belief of integrating new IT into organizations. I found lots of thought provoking material and tips at this blog. A few recent posts to this blog are: “A simple (and free!) solution: FavIcon from Pics”, “Ten Things (Just Ten!) That Every Nonprofit Executive Needs to Know About Information Technology”, “Web Pages That...um...Suck”, and “Instant messaging? Live online chat? Thanks - but I'd rather avoid it.” I don’t agree with all the thoughts such as the instant messaging post but her comment section is available for me to add my opinions. You do have to register to comment. Several months of archives exist and there are a bunch of topics that get your mind thinking about uses of technology to improve any organizations IT infrastructure. There is a group of links to technology, tools, training, volunteer networks, non-profit, advocacy and activism sites/blogs. Many of these links provide useful products, services or information for implementing technology in an organization. I give 7.5 stars.
