Astronomy Picture of the Day
“Astronomy Picture of the Day” is what the title states an astronomy image every day with some additional text information on the image or images. The design and interface is nothing special and in today’s media it is a little archaic. However, this does make it much more accessible on the internet, for many more people, by using simple plain old HTML tags with no fancy scripting or programming. There are lots of images, archives, search feature and calendar to look at the many astronomy images. You can get to other available areas such as the NASA main page and other very relevant sites in this field of expertise. They obviously have some exclusive access, great equipment and brilliant talent for displaying some original and interesting imagery. I give it 7.5 stars. I wanted to add something today with some of Huygens images of Titan's surface. It is so amazing, fascinating and exciting to be seeing things like this happen. I do not have the patience that so many of the people involved in this type work have to have. However, I still find it very remarkable when we get some of the results.7.5 stars

I love that site... I discovered it four years ago when I was taking Astronomy in College. NEAT stuff!
